🕵🏼‍♀️🔎 Case Closed: Poetry Detectives on the Job! 📝 Mrs. Samms and Ms. Bulger’s 2nd graders put on their detective hats and got to work investigating the wonderful world of poetry! 📖🔍 These young detectives sharpened their reading skills, searched for poetic devices, and successfully cracked the case, earning their official Poetry Detective Badges!👏 Way to go, detectives! 🌼🔬 Learning by doing in second grade! Ms. Cortina’s scientists got hands-on with a marigold experiment to investigate what plants need to survive. Through observation, exploration, and a little dirt on their hands, students discovered how plants depend on the right conditions to grow and thrive! 🌱💛 At Doyle, we love seeing curiosity bloom into learning! 💙😈

💻📚 Learning is at our fingertips in Ms. Sanzari’s kindergarten class at Doyle School! Our youngest Blue Devils are building their technology skills while engaging in interactive literacy and math activities through Savvas on their Chromebooks! From strengthening foundational reading skills to exploring essential math concepts, Ms. Sanzari’s cuties are developing the skills they need to grow, learn, and succeed.🌟

We wrapped up another Week of Respect this past week with our Blue Devils being reminded of the importance of kindness, empathy, inclusion, and treating others the way we want to be treated. Celebrating Our Positive Office Referral Raffle Winner! 🍦

Throughout the month, our students who received a Positive Office Referral were entered into our monthly raffle! A Positive Office Referral is a special way for staff members to recognize students who go above and beyond by demonstrating The Doyle Way, making thoughtful choices, showing kindness and respect, helping others, or contributing to our school community in a meaningful way. Every referral earned a student an opportunity to visit Ms. Schmitt in her office and have their name entered into the raffle, with one lucky Blue Devil selected as the month's raffle winner of a sweet gift card to Carvel. 🎉
