It is a true privilege to serve as the principal of WRIS and to work alongside such a dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students. As a Wood-Ridge native, this role is especially meaningful to me. To lead in the same community that helped shape who I am is something I do not take lightly.

At WRIS, our focus is on building a strong school culture where students feel connected, challenged, and proud of who they are. Whether in the classroom, in the arts, on the field, or through the many activities and traditions that bring us together, we strive to create an environment where every student feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to do their best. We place a strong emphasis on respect, responsibility, and community, and we work each day to help students develop both academically and socially as they prepare for their transition to middle school.

Partnership with families is at the heart of what we do. Your support, communication, and involvement make a meaningful difference in the success of our students and the strength of our school.
