• Below please find the necessary information and corresponding schedule to help you plan for a productive and enjoyable experience.

Though the following times are approximate, the evening will begin at 7:00 P.M. with a pre-recorded message from myself to welcome you to the night and the 2021-2022 school year.  Families will then attend a live session via Google Meet with their child’s homeroom teacher from 7:15-7:45 P.M.  From 7:45-8:15 P.M., families will hear from our special area teachers.  If your child is in grades 1-3 and receives pull-out Special Education services, you may then join their respective grade level session from 8:15-8:30 P.M.  At 8:30, you will have an opportunity to learn more about our Gifted & Talented program until 8:40 P.M.   Our evening will then conclude from 8:40-9:00 P.M with videos from our support service staff.

You may access the night’s program by utilizing this link: CED Virtual Back to School Night 2021.  The homepage consists of the evening’s agenda wherein you will be directed to click on the images for the various portions of the program.

We ask that you please ensure that Google Meet is downloaded and available for access on a device prior to Back to School Night.  To avoid distractions throughout the evening, please keep your microphone muted and utilize the 'Chat" feature, if needed, as much as possible during any live sessions. Please also note that the virtual meetings are intended for the families of Doyle students only.  Please do not share the invitation, and only attend the live sessions of the teachers that your child has.  These guidelines are intended to maximize the time you have with your child's teachers.  Please note that the pre-recorded presentation videos have been utilized to accommodate the larger number of participants for those respective subject areas.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these requests.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher directly if you have any questions about this event.

We look forward to seeing you “back to school!”
