    The American Legion's High School Oratorical Scholarship Program 2020 - This scholarship contest "A Constitutional Speech Contest" is open to students in grades 9 through 12 who are under 20 years old and a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States. The winner of the County Contest will receive a $500.00 scholarship and a chance to win up to $4,000 in then A>L> Department of NJ contest. The Department Winner will compete at the National level where the 1st place award is $18,000.00; 2nd place is $16,000.00,  and 3rd place is $14,000.00.The contestants will be judged on two parts, the first being an 8-10 minutes prepared oration which must be on some aspect of the Constitution of the United States with emphasis on the duties and obligations of a citizen of our government.     Joseph Taub Athlete Awards - This prestigious Bergen County award is open to all student-athletes in their senior year who demonstrate strong academic ability and exemplary leadership skills in sports, school, and within your community. One male and one female athlete, will each receive a $3,600 college scholarship. Second and third place scholarships will also be awarded. Deadline is Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Membership at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is not required to enter or win. Awards will be presented at this winter's 3rd Annual Sports Night of Champions, a community-wide event to support scholarships at the JCC.     National Association of Water Companies - NAWC is offering two $2,500 scholarships to high school students who will be attending a New Jersey college or university and is interested in the water utility industry or any related field.     The Dream.US is offering The National Scholarship, an up to $33,000 scholarship, for undocumented students who came to the United States before November 1, 2014, and will be attending college this fall. For further infomration, please visit thedream.us/scholarships
     
    New Jersey State Elks Association  - The Special Children's Scholarship Awards are now available. Any and all high school seniors that are physically and/or mentally challenged and will be furthering their education after graduating from high school are qualified to respond. Two four-year scholarships (one female, one male) worth up to $1,000 per year will be awarded. Applications are available from the Guidance Office. Deadline to apply is April 17, 2020.
     
     200 Club of Bergen County - The 200 Club will award six Affiliation Scholarships at $5,000 each. This scholarship is open to those students with an affiliation to Police, Fire or Emergency Medical Services. Applications can be found on the 200 Cub website, 200club.org
     
    The  Sharing Network - The Sharing Network is pleased to announce the availability of multiple scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year. The application is available for download at www.NJSharingNetwork.org/Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to students that have been impacted by organ and tissue donation and transplantation and/or are advocates for The Sharing Network's life-saving mission. The deadline for submission is Friday, March 20, 2020 at noon. 
     
    Junior League of Bergen County - The Junior League of Bergen County is pleased to offer a scholarship to a high school senior who has demonstrated a commitment to voluntarism during his or her high school career. This $1,500 scholarship will be awarded primarily on outstanding community service and civic leadership, but a student's scholastic merit, extra-curricular activities and work experience will also be considered. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.     The Helping Agels, Inc - The Helping Angels, Inc is offering a $3,000 scholarship to a female student who can demonstrate their potential to be a high academic student and future leader in a wide range of fields.     Bergen County American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary - The George F. Axt Memorial Committee will be awarding nursing scholarships to students entering accredited nursing schools or colleges in September. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
     
    The New Jersey Disabled American Veterans - The DAV will be awarding three (3) $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors for post high school education. Applicants must be a natural or adopted descendant of a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Dept. of NJ (sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins).     Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund - TASF is focused on helping economically-challenged Taiwanese American youth fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education.     The Mickey Corcoran Scholarship Fund Application - The Mickey Corcoran Scholarship will recognize one male and one female student with a $3,000 scholarship.     Mid New Jersey Yough Soccer Association - MNJYSA is awarding two $1,000 scholarships to a graduating male and senior high school student. The scholarship is awarded based on accomplishments in the classroom, in high school, in the community, and in their soccer club. Application deadline is May 15, 2020. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
     
    The Council of Irish Associations of Greater Bergen County, Inc. - Essay contest is open to all graduating high school seniors in Bergen County planning to attend an institution of higher learning. Winnner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and the second place winner will receive a $500 scholarship. Deadline to apply is April 22, 2020. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
     
    Paramus Medical & Sports Rehabilitation Center  The second annual "Angela Piccierri Sudol Memorial Scholarship" is open to high school seniors who reside in Bergen County, have a 3.5 GPA or higher, are active in their school and community, and have an interest in pursuing a degree in the field of education.
