Student Assistance ProgramThe student assistance program in Wood-Ridge School District offers confidential professional services to assist students who are struggling with a range of issues which negatively impact school performance. The Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) works with students and their families to provide a combination of supportive counseling, psycho-education, and referral services. With the SAC, students can discuss a range of issues including:
- Family Problems
- Self-Esteem
- Anger Management
- Stress Management
- Anxiety/Depression
- Bullying
- Relationship Issues (Friends, Dating, etc.)
- Body Image
- Drugs and Alcohol
- Substance Use/Abuse
