Speech-language therapy is the treatment for children with speech and/or language disorders. A speech disorder occurs when a person has difficulty producing speech sounds correctly or fluently, or has difficulties with their voice. A language disorder occurs when a person has trouble understanding others or expressing thoughts, ideas, and feelings completely.
