The Basics!

My name is Miss Jackie Humphrey. I will be your child’s kindergarten/first/second grade self-contained teacher for the 2019-2020 school year! This will be my 5th year teaching at Catherine Doyle Elementary and I am excited to make this my best year yet!

Fun fact: Before Doyle, I worked at REED Academy in Oakland, NJ. REED is a private non-profit school for children with autism.

    My Childhood!

I grew up in Monroe, New York and went to school in the Monroe-Woodbury School District from kindergarten-high school. I graduated from high school in 2008.
Fun fact: I am now living in New Jersey, but also spend a lot of time in Warwick, New York where my family lives!

    My Education!

In December of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education k-6 from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Rockland, NY. Since then, I have received a Master's Degree in Literacy and have taken graduate courses at Caldwell University in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Fun fact: I am trained in Orton-Gillinham and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I also work for Progressie Therapy of NJ as a home ABA program instructor.
