"Today you are you.  That is truer than true.  There is no one alive who is you-er than you!"-Dr. Seuss
Welcome to first grade!  I am looking forward to all of the fun and exciting experiences we will share together throughout the school year!

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Franchini and I am honored to be your child’s third grade teacher for this upcoming school year.  This will be my sixth year teaching at Doyle school.   I find that each year unveils new and exciting experiences with each class and I am very excited to start a new journey with my classes this year!
I have gone throughout the Wood-Ridge School District, including Catherine E. Doyle Elementary School.  I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in English and Psychology.  I also possess a Master of Art in Teaching and Highly Qualified Teaching status in English/Language Arts.  In addition to teaching, I am in my 12th year as a proud coach of the Wood-Ridge Varsity fall and competitive cheerleading teams.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. As your child’s teacher, my main goal is to help every child achieve success in their education and to instill a great passion for learning.  We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.  I have high expectations for our students.  I believe every student can achieve these expectations with the support of the family and teacher.

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship.  I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time.  You can send me a note, email me at Bfranchini@wood-ridgeschools.org or contact me at the school at (201) 933-6777. I will also do my part by updating my website weekly on what we have been doing in class as well as my homework page and things that are coming up.

I look forward to an exciting year filled with new challenges and high expectations.  I consider it a great privilege to be your child’s teacher this year and look forward to a both fulfilling and rewarding school year!
