All Wood-Ridge High School students in grades 9-12 in the upcoming 2008-2009 school year are expected to participate in a selected summer reading assignment. Each grade level is assigned a novel to read during the summer with the expectation that students will be able to participate in oral and written presentations regarding the book. The selected novel should be completely read by the opening day of school in September. English teachers will reference the books in the opening weeks of class, and make appropriate assignments at that time. College Prep (non-honors) courses must read one book and honors courses must read the additional selection as well. Click Read More for specific assignements: |
