The projects are due on the first day of school and will be collected during your math class.

WRHS - Summer Reading Projects 2008

All Wood-Ridge High School students in grades 9-12 in the upcoming 2008-2009 school year are expected to participate in a selected summer reading assignment. Each grade level is assigned a novel to read during the summer with the expectation that students will be able to participate in oral and written presentations regarding the book. The selected novel should be completely read by the opening day of school in September. English teachers will reference the books in the opening weeks of class, and make appropriate assignments at that time. College Prep (non-honors) courses must read one book and honors courses must read the additional selection as well.

GRO - Summer Projects 2008

All entering 7th and 8th graders must complete:

· Language Arts Literacy – read novel and complete all parts of written assignment.

· Mathematics – complete all four parts for entering grade.

Due date: Submit each project to subject teacher by Friday, September 5, 2008. The grade for each project will be the equivalent to one major test.
